Proenza Schouler

This will be a very obvious statement, and I'm sure you stylish people have already discovered this, but the new Proenza Schouler line at Target is SO RAD. Such cute clothes for work, weekends and night-time escapades.
We love the pencil skirts:

And the jackets:

And especially the tissue tees:

Who do you look like?

Here at OMGS, we believe everyone must be at least a little attractive. Go to this website:
http://www.myheritage.com/FP/Company/tryFaceRecognition.php and upload a photo of yourself (tip: use whatever photo you have that most closely resembles a mug shot. No glasses, hat or face turned at an angle). Upload it to this site, and then find out which celebrity you most closely resemble. Raven got Brigitte Bardot, and I got Sophia Loren.

I also got a random 83 year-old male screenplay writer from Lithuania, so take it with a grain of salt.

A sunny Friday afternoon

Well-

For those of you who live on the East Coast, begin laughing now. We're in sunny California, and I can tell you that it's been absolutely freezing here recently. I actually wore six wool items to work yesterday. Today, however, is slightly breezy and semi-warm. In light of such exciting weather, I would like to bless you with a Spring runway preview. Good thing for you I work in fashion.

This Spring's looks range from:

androgynous by Ann-Sofie Back

to impossible to wear by Christian Kane

bizarre by Basso and Brooke

elegant by Paul Smith

and, finally, fabulously tacky from B-rude!

Who knew that Free People's online store had so much cute shit?

Repetto boots (!), well-priced ballet flats, the cutest wellies I've seen all season...sigh.

Fuel

No, this is not a joke. Meth Coffee is a new coffee roasting company in San Francisco that adds yerba mate to its already super-strong blend. This definitely beats smoking meth - seriously, nobody wants to look like Josh Winkler.

It may not be quite as destructive as meth, but mate is some serious shit. I've been drinking strong coffee every single day since I was 12 and mate makes me completely crazy. I can have two shots of espresso and pass out 15 minutes later, but mate feels like an illicit upper drug. I once drank an entire Nalgene bottle full of it when I was attempting to stay up and study in college. My heart started racing, my palms started sweating, I was grinding my teeth. A repressed rage boiled up and I tried to choke my insane upstairs neighbor when he came to harass me for my notes. Not good.

Anyway, this really isn't a fashion post, but my caffeine addiction really pervades every area of life, so what the hell.

Hi All-

Eureka! I have solved the problem.

Picture this: you're in a super trendy, black market shoe store. All the Tigers, Pumas and Nikes you could want.
But.
This one has ugly yellow laces. That one's sole is too thick. You HATE the pink stripes. Etc.

The solution?
Design your own damn shoe!
It's a little expensive, but at this website: http://mongolianshoebbq.puma.com/pindex.jsp
you can seriously make your own dream shoe. It's incredible. My recommendation? Choose like, three main colors and stick with the theme. Otherwise your masterpiece will end up looking like mine did (fugly)!
